Individual clinical supervision
Individual supervision usually takes place fortnightly in North London, or by Zoom or FaceTime . All sessions are 50 minutes and the standard rate is £70 per session
Supervision groups
I run small supervision groups for 3 or 4 counsellors on a monthly basis. Groups can be delivered at your university with your counselling colleagues, or you can join a group of counsellors who work in other universities. This can work well as an adjunct to individual supervision and provide a rich cross fertilization of ideas and working practices. Supervision groups are 1 hour 20 minutes and are usually charged at £50 per session for each participant. A commitment of one semester is required in order to provide consistency and containment.
Training and skills development for university counsellors

2017 - 1 day training for 50 Scottish HE counsellors hosted by University of Edinburgh on 'Assessment for short term counselling in HE'.
2018 - 1 day training for 30 HE counsellors hosted by Birkbeck, University of London on 'Assessment for short term counselling in HE'.
2018-19 - Consultancy to Loughborough University Counselling team to help them to develop skills and competencies needed for the introduction to a max. 6 session model
2019 - 1 day training for 30 HE counsellors hosted by University of Nottingham on 'Assessment for short term counselling in HE'

Multi disciplinary supervision and reflective practice groups
​
Group supervision can also be arranged for other mental health support staff such as mental health advisers, wellbeing practitioners, disability advisers or for mixed groups staff with different roles aimed at supporting students with emotional and psychological difficulties to make the most of their experience at university. The fee for these will depend on the size of the group, frequency and location, contact us to discuss this further.
